The Jersey Burger Recipe
Some Burgers are built to impress. This one's built to remind you of home, or at least, of the best diner you've ever walked into at midnight.
The Jersey Burger is a love letter to New Jersey's legendary diner culture. We're talking Schweid & Sons Butcher's Blend patties, seasoned simply with kosher salt and black pepper, cooked to perfection and blanketed in melted American cheese. Then comes the Taylor ham, three crispy, salty slices per Burger, because in Jersey, pork roll is non-negotiable (no matter what you call it). Top it with a fried egg, stack it all on a toasted Kaiser roll, and you've got a diner-style Burger that doesn't need a booth or a laminated menu to feel like the real thing.
This is the kind of Burger New Jersey diners have been serving since before it was cool, and the kind you'll be craving long after the last bite.
