Schweid & Sons 100% beef products are available at grocery stores nationwide! Use our Schweid store locator and look for us in the fresh meat section of your grocery store. 

All of our products are made with beef sourced in the United States, with one exception: The Butcher’s Blend. For nearly 50 years, The Butcher’s Blend has included a small percentage of beef from trusted suppliers in Australia and New Zealand. These countries were originally selected by David Schweid because of their exceptional quality, consistency, and strong food safety standards. That commitment to quality remains unchanged today, and we continue to follow the same recipe and sourcing philosophy that helped establish The Butcher’s Blend nearly five decades ago.

Yes, all Schweid & Sons products are gluten free.

Yes, if you are not planning on using our Burgers right away, you can freeze them for up to 6 months when properly stored. There is a freeze-by date on the package that should let you know how to properly handle our Burgers.

No, Schweid & Sons does not add any artificial colorings or dyes to our products.

Schweid & Sons strives to find and use the very best quality product available. As such, we consistently source from a variety of suppliers who procure beef from a wide range of family farms who share the same commitment to delivering high quality products.

The Katana Blend, The Grass Fed Blend, and The All Natural are all hormone and antibiotic free.

Schweid & Sons Burgers help you have restaurant quality, chef-level meals at home. You can cook Schweid & Sons Burgers on a grill or stovetop! 

1. Lightly season both sides of each Burger with kosher salt (optional).
2. Keep Burgers refrigerated until ready to cook.
3. Starting with a hot, clean and oiled surface, cook Burgers over high heat for 8-10 minutes or until desired temperature is reached*. (The USDA recommends cooking Burgers to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F (71.1° C). 
4. To keep Burgers juicy, flip each Burger only once halfway through cooking time and do not press down on Burgers while cooking.
5. Build Burgers with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

NOTE: If cooking Burgers on the stovetop, we recommend using a cast iron skillet and following the instructions above.

Schweid & Sons Burgers are packed with a safe gas to provide the freshest Burger when you open it up at home. Because of this packaging method, you may see extra air inside the packaging causing the package to slightly swell. The gas may cause an unknown smell when you first open the package, but it will dissipate after a few minutes.

There are four Schweid & Sons Burgers in each package.

Protein in Schweid & Sons Burgers range from 24-26 grams of protein.

Protein in Schweid & Sons ground beef bricks range from 18-19 grams of protein.

Store Schweid & Sons products safely in the refrigerator until the Use/Freeze by date printed on the front of the package. By this date the product should be consumed, or frozen to be thawed and eaten at a later date. For more information about how to safely store ground beef, read our blog here.
