Gochujang Crunch Burger Slider

Behold! The winner of the 2024 Yelp’s Best Bite on the Beach award at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival Grand Tasting event!  Our Slider was up against some steep competition but in the end, the attendees voted the Gochujang Crunch Slider as the best bite on the beach. We are so proud of this recipe that we wanted to share it so you could make it at home.

Ingredients
Pickled Red Onions Recipe (10oz.)
Gochujang Aioli Recipe (1.5cups)

Pickled Red Onions
  1. Pickled Red Onions
    1. Julienne slice the entire red onion and place slices into a deep stainless-steel bowl.
  2. 2. Combine the remaining ingredients together into a saucepan and blended well.
  3. 3. Bring mixture to a boil and then let sit at room temperature for 5 – 10 min.
  4. 4. Pour the hot liquid over the sliced onions ensuring all of the onions are submerged into the hot liquid and let sit at room temperature until cooled, once cool, transfer to storage container,
Gochujang Aioli
  1. Gochujang Aioli
    1. Combine all ingredients together until well blended, and the aioli has reached the desired viscosity.
Sliders
  1. Sliders
    1. Preheat flat top grill to medium heat. Season Sliders with salt. Once heated, place Sliders on grill and cook about 4-5 minutes each side or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 2. Slider Build: bottom bun, Slider burger, pickled red onions, gochujang aioli, crispy fried jalapenos, top bun.
