1 Pack Schweid & Sons The Steakhouse Blend 1lb Ground Beef Brick

1 Pound Mushrooms

1.5 Cups Arborio Rice

5 Cups Low Sodium Beef Stock

1 Cup Pecorino Romano Cheese
-
2 Tbsp olive oil
-
1 Tbsp Thyme
-
1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

salt (to taste)

pepper (to taste)

1. Heat up your pan to medium and throw in your oil and butter. Once warm, add your mushrooms and begin to soften.

2. Season with thyme, red pepper flakes, and pepper.

3. Once mushrooms have cooked down halfway, add your rice. Stir to coat and cook for 2 minutes.

4. In a saucepan, warm your beef stock over low-medium heat.

5. Add your beef stock to your rice and mushrooms one cup at a time, stirring gently for 2 minutes between cups. This process should take around 30 minutes in total.

6. Once all the stock is added, let simmer for about 8 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed. Test for doneness if needed.

7. Stir in your pecorino romano cheese and turn off heat.

8. Serve hot and garnish how you want. Enjoy!
