Serves

1
  • 1 5.3oz Schweid & Sons Patty (Any Blend)

  • 2 Bread Slices

  • 1/2 cup Onions (sliced)

  • 5 Slices Brie Cheese

  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • salt (to taste)

  • 1. Pre-heat a skillet to medium heat. Once heated, add olive oil and onions. Let it cook, stirring occasionally, until soft and brown. This should take about 10 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and set aside.

  • 2. Preheat a skillet to medium high heat. Once heated, add your Schweid & Sons patty and cook to your desired temperature. We recommend about 4 minutes per side and flipping only once. Season the Burger with salt, to taste.

  • 3. Preheat a skillet to medium low heat. While that is heating up, add half of the mayonnaise to one side of the bread slice. Add slice mayonnaise side down to the skillet.

  • 4. Add Brie slices to the bread slice and cover for 1 minute. Lift lid and add the Burger patty and close the lid. Let melt for 1-2 minutes ensuring that the heat is on low so the bread doesn't burn. Top with the caramelized onions.

  • 5. Add the top slice with the mayonnaise side on top. Carefully flip to cook the other side. Cover with the lid to ensure maximum meltiness! [Pro Tip on flipping the patty melt: Lift the patty melt with a spatula. Turn the frying pan upside-down and on top of the mayonnaise side of the bread. Flip it back over and set the frying pan down. Continue cooking the other side]

  • 6. Allow time for the cheese to melt and the bread to get crispy. Once that is achieved, remove from heat and enjoy!
