Serves

4
  • 2 5.3oz Schweid & Sons The Signature Blend Patties

  • 2 Slices Gruyere Cheese

  • 1 Cup Crispy Onions

  • 2 Tbsp Garlic Aioli

  • 2 Buns (toasted)

  • 3 cans Condensed French Onion Soup

  • ¾ cup Bourbon Sauce

  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar

  • ½ Teaspoon Onion powder

  • 1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Add fresh Schweid & Sons Burger patties and grill about 5 to 6 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Add cheese to Burger after flip.

  • 2. While Burgers cook, toast buns with butter.

  • 3. Build the Burger: bottom bun, Schweid & Sons Burger patty with gruyere, Bourbon French Onion Marmalade, crispy onions, garlic aioli, top bun. Enjoy!

  • 1. Place 3 cans of condensed soup into a strainer to remove liquid. Strain until at least 1 ½ cups of liquid has been removed and you are left with about 2 cups of strained onions.

  • 2. Place strained onions into a bowl. Add onion powder, bourbon sauce and brown sugar. Blend well.

  • 3. Place into a microwavable container and heat on high for 5 minutes. Carefully remove to stir and then heat for another 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Notes

Alternative Cooing for the Marmalade: Cook on stove on medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
