Ingredients
-
1 Pound Schweid & Sons The Butcher's Blend Brick
-
1 Small Onion (chopped)
-
1 Cup Pickles (chopped)
-
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
-
1 TBSP Yellow Mustard
-
1 Pack Egg Roll Wrappers
-
1 TSP salt (To taste)
-
1 TSP pepper (To taste)
-
1 TBSP Mayonnaise
-
1 TBSP Ketchup
Instructions
-
1. Season and cook the ground beef and onion together until the meat is no longer pink.
-
2. Drain the meat and mix together with chopped pickles, cheese, and mustard to taste
-
3. Prepare the egg roll wrappers according to the directions on the package.
-
4. Start filling the egg roll wrappers by facing a corner toward you, putting approximately a ¼ cup of filling towards the top corner of the wrapper. Roll the top corner completely over the filling then tuck and fold the sides tightly to ensure that no filling comes out.
-
5. Moisten the last corner before you close the roll. Place aside under a damp paper towel to prevent the egg roll wrappers from drying out and continue rolling the remaining egg rolls.
-
6. Pan fry, deep fry, or pop them into the air fryer for about 4 to 5 minutes. For pan frying, add 1 cup of vegetable oil to the pan (or more depending on the pan size) so that half of your egg roll is submerged in the oil. Let the oil heat up and add 3-4 egg rolls to begin frying for about 2 minutes per side. Alter the time for your desired level of doneness.
-
7. While the egg rolls are cooking, mix together ketchup and mayonnaise for dipping.
-
8. Last step…enjoy!
