Ingredients

  • 1 lb Schweid & Sons Butcher's Blend Ground Beef Brick

  • 1/2 lb Ground Pork

  • 1 25oz Jar Marinara

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup Carrots (grated)

  • 1 cup Celery (minced)

  • 1 cup Onions (finely minced)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Sugar (optional)

  • 1 lb Pappardelle Noodles

Instructions

  • 1. In a large saucepan, heat olive oil on medium heat. Once hot, carefully add in carrots, celery and onions and sauté for 3 minutes or until almost tender.

  • 2. Add the Schweid and Sons Butcher's Blend Ground Beef and ground pork and cook until browned. Break up the meat as it cooks.

  • 3. Pour in the sauce and add in salt, pepper, garlic powder and sugar. Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce will start to thicken.

  • 4. Once the Bolognese sauce reaches your desired consistency, stir in the heavy cream and remove from heat.

  • 5. Serve over pappardelle or wide noodles and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
