Ingredients
-
1 Pack Schweid & Sons The Steakhouse Blend Ground Beef
-
1 Tbsp olive oil
-
2 Cloves garlic (Minced)
-
1/2 White Onion (Finely Chopped)
-
8 Ounces Button/Cremini Mushrooms
-
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
-
2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
-
2 Cups Beef Stock
-
1/4 Cup Flat Leaf Italian Parsley
-
Mashed Potatoes
-
Sauteed Kale (Or Green Beans)
Instructions
-
1. Form The Steakhouse Blend beef into four ¾”-thick oblong patties.
-
2. Heat 1 Tbsp neutral oil in a large skillet over med-high heat. Add patties and sear undisturbed for 5 minutes per side, until both sides are browned. Remove and set aside (they'll finish cooking in the gravy).
-
3. In the same skillet, cook onion and garlic until fragrant - 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring until golden and their moisture has released, about 4 minutes.
-
4. Turn the heat down and add butter. Once melted, add flour and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Slowly whisk in beef stock and add the steaks back to the pan. Cook until steaks are done - about 7 minutes.
-
5. Serve with your favorite sides and garnish with flat-leaf parsley. Enjoy!
