Tailgate Zinger Burger

Who’s ready for some football!?!

Autumn is in the air…the leaves are changing color, cooler temperatures are coming upon us, and your weekends (and weeknights) are already filled with fall’s favorite sport. That’s right, we’re talking about football. And what goes better with American football than an epic tailgate? Not much, except for the Very Best Burger.

Our kitchen has worked up what we think is the perfect barbecue-style tailgate Burger creation for the next big game. If you’re ready to up your tailgating scene and kick off the season with a bang, try this recipe on for size, and you’ll be the envy of every pre-game grill! Trust us—it’s a zinger 😉

Tailgate Zinger Burger

This tailgate Burger all starts with the very best ingredients like a Schweid & Sons fresh Burger. We suggest The Butcher’s Blend 5.3oz patties because of the steak-like flavor it has. Only prime cuts of beef are used in this blend and the 80% / 20% lean-to-fat ratio keeps the Burger juicy. Season with salt and pepper and throw them on the grill for approximately 6 minutes on each side. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to the top of the patty to melt. Put your Burger patty on a potato bun and top with your favorite barbecue sauce—either store-bought or homemade. The last step: enjoy and get ready to cheer on your favorite team!
