How To Make Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes — Recipe
We know there are those times when you crave the juicy flavor of a Burger, but want a change of pace from your usual Burger builds. And that’s okay. We’ve got you covered. Take this recipe for a Sloppy Joe made in a slow cooker for example. It give you all that juicy Burger flavor you crave in a whole new way.
This recipe features our One Percenter—Certified Angus Beef ® brand USDA Prime chuck—and loads it onto a Martin’s Potato roll for added flavor and support. You’re gonna love it so much, this recipe will undoubtedly make it into your regular lineup.
- 2 lbs Schweid & Sons The One Percenter
- 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tsps Yellow Mustard
- 1 1/2 cups Ketchup
- 2 tbsps Brown Sugar
- 2 tsps salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black pepper
- Martin's Sandwich Potato Rolls
- Shredded Cheese (optional)
- 1. Brown Schweid & Sons The One Percenter ground beef in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Combine the browned meat and remaining ingredients (except for rolls and cheese) in the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 – 6 hours.
- 3. Serve on Martin’s Sandwich Potato Rolls with cheese, if desired. Enjoy!
