Roundy’s & Schweid Partner Up

CARLSTADT, NJ – Schweid & Sons is proud to announce its partnership with Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc., a division of Kroger, to bring a variety of blends to Burger lovers across the Midwest.

Roundy’s—which operates Mariano’s, Pick n’ Save, Metro Market, and Copps under its banner—has added several of the ultra-premium Burger brand’s most popular items to its roster. Schweid & Sons availability will start with Mariano’s.

Products will include The Prime Burger, made from premium cuts of boneless chuck, and the Signature Series: Chuck Brisket, a trademark recipe that has been developed by the Schweid family over the course of four generations. Additionally, the grocer will also offer consumers The Katana Blend, a specialty item that is all natural and contains no added hormones, antibiotics, or steroids and is a 100% Wagyu item which is an American cattle breed that originated in Japan.

The Prime Burger, Signature Series: Chuck Brisket, and the Katana Blend can be found in the fresh premium meat section.
