Stonewall Kitchen Slider Flight

Did you know Sliders are perfect for when you aren’t sure what kind of Burger you’re in the mood for? You start with your Burger base and add any and every topping you’re craving. We’ve lovingly called this a “Slider Flight”. We’re sure you’ve heard of a beer flight or a wine flight but did you know why this type of dish is called a flight? The Old English word flyht means “group of similar beings or objects flying through the air together”. This term has been used in the context of food since the 1970s! 

It’s very simple and quick to create your own Slider flight. It is perfect for a weeknight meal with picky eaters or as something fun & interactive with a group of friends at a dinner party. Our Slider flights start with our Signature Blend 2.5oz Burgers made from chuck & brisket. Our Slider patties are pre-portioned so no need to guess how many ounces of beef to use for a Slider – we’ve figured it out for you! Cook your Sliders to your desired doneness and then the fun begins! 

Sometimes, we are purists and simply want a Burger with cheese. Today we wanted an elevated flavor profile so we turned to our friends at Stonewall Kitchen and their large selection of jams & sauces. 

Stonewall Kitchen started out much like ours – with a love for a product and the determination to share the good stuff with everyone else.  One of the first jars of Stonewall Kitchen products was sold at a local farmers market. The Slider Flight Build

When it comes to topping our Sliders, we knew we wanted to try Stonewall Kitchen’s bacon jam! We added a dollop of their Roasted Garlic Onion Jam to one Slider and Maple Bacon Onion Jam to another. This gave us varying flavor profiles for each slider all while enhancing the flavor. And we didn’t stop there. We topped our last Slider with a Maple Bacon Aioli and it was divine.
