How To Make The Boursin® Burger — Recipe

How do you like your Cheeseburgers—with golden yellow American dripping down the sides? What if we told you there was another way? Another way to enjoy a Cheeseburger that was simple and delicate (and kept your hands clean). That’s where the Boursin® Burger comes in.

A craft of love and time (this isn’t an 8-minute Burger build), the Boursin® Burger combines complementary flavors to create an experience that’s both familiar and brand new with every bite. From the paper-thin yellow onions sauteed in butter, brown sugar, and bourbon to the delicate schmear of Boursin® cheese on a toasted brioche bun to the salty and crispy bacon, to the USDA Prime Chuck Burger, this recipe has it all.

Instructions
  1. 1. Slice yellow onions until paper thin. On medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter in saucepan. Add bourbon and brown sugar. Once combined, reduce heat to low and add yellow onions. Saute for about 30 minutes until onions are translucent.
  2. 2. Cook bacon until almost crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. 3. Salt Burger on both sides and cook on high heat to order (approximately 4-5 minutes per side for Medium-Rare).
  4. 4. When Burger is nearly cooked, melt remaining butter in a pan and place brioche bun (cut in half) inside down to toast.
  5. 5. Build Your Boursin Burger: bottom bun, onions, Burger, bacon, Boursin cheese (apply to inside of top bun), top bun.
  6. 6. Enjoy!
