A classic NYC bodega eat- the Chopped Cheese sandwich is chopped beef with your choice of cheese and topped with lettuce and tomatoes.

Ingredients

Onion, chopped

Schweid & Sons Ground Beef (1 Patty)

Cheese, your preference

Sub Roll, toasted with butter

Mayonnaise

Tomato, chopped
1/2

Lettuce, sliced
Instructions
1. Toast your sub roll and set aside
2. Add olive oil to a pan on medium high heat. Once oil is heated, add in onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
3. Add in ground beef and start “chopping”.
4. When ground beef is no longer pink, add the cheese. Once the cheese starts to melt, chop it up to incorporate the cheese.
5. Add mayo to the top of the sub roll. Carefully add beef to the bottom roll then top with tomatoes and lettuce. Enjoy!
