The Very Best Burger Truck stopped by Taste of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, to sample delicious Burgers to the masses two weeks ago. We spent three days serving a Burger created just for the people of Charlotte: The Pimento Burger. This delicious Burger build featured a local favorite, pimento cheese, as well as tomato and peppered bacon on a Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe potato roll.

What is your favorite Burger from childhood?

My 1st job ever was at Five Guys Burgers at the age of 15, so it quickly became the Little Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys.

What is the last Burger you ate?

Reid’s Fine Foods Steak Burger in Southpark (Charlotte, NC).

What Burger have you not had that you want to try?

Bang Bang Burgers! I live right around the corner and need to walk over asap to get in on all the buzz! They were recently featured on Diners, Dive-Ins, and Dives.

If you could share a Burger with anyone—alive or dead, real or fictional—who would it be?

This one had me stumped! I would have to say Jesus, for so many reasons…

What is your favorite Burger from childhood?

Honestly, our favorite burgers were the ones our Dad made on the grill after softball games. This is likely more about the memory than the actual burgers, but they do say food brings people together!

What is the last Burger you ate?

A blue cheese, mushroom, and caramelized onion-topped Burger   .

What Burger have you not had that you want to try?

I have been wanting to try a mac & cheese Burger (who doesn’t love two great foods in one)!

If you could share a Burger with anyone—alive or dead, real or fictional—who would it be?

The cast of Friends.
