The Cattle Call: Rev Run

What was your favorite Burger from childhood?
A Cheeseburger prepared by my mother, or like any kid, a McDonald’s Cheeseburger.

What is your favorite Burger right now?
A Cheeseburger with pickles and sometimes a little barbecue sauce and ketchup.

If you could share Burgers with anyone (real or fictional, alive or dead) who would it be? And what kind of Burgers would you be eating?
President Obama. We would be eating bacon Cheeseburgers.

What is something you’d like your fans to know about your love of Burgers?
My love of Burgers run deep. I can eat them prepared by myself or many restaurants close by. My favorite restaurant to eat Burgers at this time when I’m dining out is Houston’s.

When you cook Burgers at home, how do you build them?
Bun, Burger, cheese, pickles. On a greedy day, I might add a pinch of mustard. And if I’m really greedy, I might put three french fries inside of it.

The Cattle Call: Jill Martin

What was your favorite Burger from childhood?
My dad’s was (and is) my favorite Burger! He grills it medium-well on a toasted Martin’s (no relation!) potato roll. Also on the sandwich: Russian Dressing, coleslaw, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, mushrooms, pickles & american cheese. Jamie Schweid is one of my family’s closest friends, so we always have Schweid & Sons on hand!

What is your favorite Burger right now?
Cowfish in Hampton Bays. It is the perfect combination of everything.

If you could share Burgers with anyone (real or fictional, alive or dead) who would it be? And what kind of Burgers would you be eating?
One of my best friends Dana Ravich. She is a vegan…would love to just sit and have a Burger & beer with her! Lure “Bash” Burger by Josh Capon!

What is something you’d like your fans to know about your love of Burgers?
I am super serious about it. I judged Burger Bash a few years ago, and as a Rookie, I approached it all wrong. I think I had to try 21 Hamburgers total. The first one I tried, I loved, and I wound up eating almost the whole thing. By the end, I was the most full I had ever been & I was in bed for 3 days.  This time around, I am prepared. I will pace myself & enjoy every bite.

When you cook Burgers at home, how do you build them?
I just bought a new BBQ, so I have been taking my Burger-building very seriously. I take two pieces of fresh Challah, add homemade Russian dressing, a little BBQ sauce, cornichons & add Fritos (for the crunch!) They have been a big hit!

The Cattle Call: David Bromstad

What was your favorite Burger from childhood?
My favorite burger was a delicious Bacon Double Cheeseburger from Dairy Queen.  Hey it’s all we had in my little town.

What is your favorite Burger right now?
I just love a great Buffalo Burger with gruyere cheese, fried jalapeños, sliced pickles, a touch of  zesty mayo on one side of the grilled bun and lots of ketchup and mustard on  the other.  A side of seasoned fries. Shut it down I’m in heaven!

If you could share Burgers with anyone (real or fictional, alive or dead) who would it be? And what kind of Burgers would you be eating?

I know exactly who I would share my beef with. It would definitely be John snow from Game of Thrones. He’s so cute! And what kinds of Burgers would you be eating ?

In regards to his role,  I would make it a tough, rugged burger to share. 1 full pound of delicious Bison (that he caught and killed with his bare hands) topped with spicy jalapeño-jack cheese and a thick slab of bacon and some wild mushrooms (that he hand picked in the wilderness).  🙂 I love a good fantasy with food.

What is something you’d like your fans to know about your love of Burgers?

Burgers just scream American to me. Not only do they melt in your mouth stimulating ever taste bud in your mouth but they are a huge part of our food history and they are loved by everyone around the world.

When I want comfort food I always go for a juicy Burger.

When you cook Burgers at home, how do you build them?

At home, I always keep it simple and leave the fancy toppings to the restaurants. I enjoy bison meat. I mix the meat with soy sauce, a little bit of BBQ sauce, fresh cracked black pepper and a little bit of olive oil for the grill. I add some dill pickles, spicy cheese and ketchup and mustard. Yummy!

Simple and delicious.

The Cattle Call: Ayesha Curry

What was your favorite Burger from childhood?
BIG MAC! I had my first when I was 8 yrs old against my parents will. My aunt took me McDonald’s and I totally took advantage of the situation.

What is your favorite Burger right now?

I love a Burger cooked medium with sharp cheddar, brown sugar bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato and aioli.

If you could share Burgers with anyone (real or fictional, alive or dead) who would it be? And what kind of Burgers would you be eating?
Oprah and Michelle Obama. Burgers topped with tons of veggies. And bread, because Oprah “LOVES BREAD!”

What is something you’d like your fans to know about your love of Burgers?
I love them with any protein. Lamb, turkey, chicken, beef, bison.

When you cook Burgers at home, how do you build them?
I stack them high sometimes to the point where I can only eat it with a knife and fork.
